Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Lookzy app and website. By creating an account or booking an appointment through Lookzy, you agree to these terms.

1. What Lookzy Is

Lookzy is a booking marketplace that connects customers with independent salons. Lookzy facilitates the booking and, where applicable, the payment for an appointment — the salon itself is responsible for providing the service you book.

2. Account & Login

Accounts are created and accessed using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. You're responsible for keeping access to your registered mobile number secure, as it is the only way to access your account.

3. Booking an Appointment

• A booking is only confirmed once the salon accepts your request — booking a slot does not guarantee the salon will approve it.
• If a salon does not respond to a booking request within 15 minutes, the request automatically expires and no payment is charged.
• Payment may be made in-app (via Razorpay) or, where offered by the salon, in person at the time of your visit ("pay at salon").

4. Cancellations

• You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before your appointment.
• Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the appointment time are eligible for a full refund (where payment was made in-app).
• Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee, deducted from your refund.

5. Rescheduling

You may request to reschedule a booking to a different available time slot, subject to the salon's availability at that new time.

6. Payments

In-app payments are processed securely by Razorpay, our third-party payment partner. Lookzy does not store your card, UPI, or bank account details.

7. Salon Responsibilities

Salons listed on Lookzy are independent businesses, not employees or franchises of Lookzy. Lookzy is not responsible for the quality of services rendered by a salon, but we do take reports of serious issues seriously — contact us if something goes wrong.

8. Account Suspension

Lookzy may suspend or block an account that violates these terms, engages in abusive behavior toward salons or staff, or repeatedly fails to honor confirmed bookings.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lookzy provides the booking platform "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookzy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or a salon's services.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
